Structured source analysis
CVs, promotion narratives, institutional criteria, and supporting materials are analyzed together.

MedLead Tools AI Application
Create a high-quality, source-supported promotion letter draft with greater clarity, confidence, and efficiency.
Designed for academic physician leaders, the generator organizes an authorized CV, institutional criteria, and supporting materials into a persuasive draft grounded in documented accomplishments. It helps identify source conflicts and missing details before drafting while preserving your judgment, voice, and responsibility for the final letter.
The Academic Physician Promotion Letter Generator is currently in development and is not available for customer use.
Restricted production beta
The generator is available only to invited beta testers. Approved testers receive a single-use, time-limited secure link by email.
Built for physician leaders
The generator is designed for authorized academic leaders responsible for preparing consequential nomination and support letters.
What it helps you do
Instead of simply restating a CV, the generator helps you identify the evidence that matters, connect accomplishments to the proposed rank, and develop a coherent narrative across the candidate's academic work.
The resulting draft is designed to communicate demonstrated impact, trajectory, academic identity, professional recognition, and readiness for promotion. You remain in control of factual verification, personalization, and final approval.
A stronger starting point
Academic promotion letters require more than fluent writing. They require an understanding of the candidate's academic identity, which accomplishments matter most, how impact and trajectory support advancement, and how the case aligns with the proposed rank.
Receive a structured, source-supported draft built from the candidate's documented record and a methodology designed specifically for academic physician promotion.
Each complete draft uses a proprietary, physician-designed framework built specifically for academic physician promotion. The system structures the academic record, identifies promotion-relevant evidence, and develops a reasoned case for advancement rather than simply summarizing a CV. After Draft 1, the nominator may optionally generate one complete alternative Draft 2 from the same confirmed information.
CVs, promotion narratives, institutional criteria, and supporting materials are analyzed together.
Greater emphasis is placed on supported accomplishments demonstrating meaningful clinical, scholarly, educational, leadership, or professional impact.
The letter is calibrated to the proposed rank and, when supplied, the institution's promotion criteria and track.
Clinical care, scholarship, education and mentoring, leadership, and external contributions are interpreted as an integrated academic record.
Important assertions remain tied to user-confirmed information or retained source-document provenance.
Material inconsistencies across documents are surfaced for resolution rather than silently reconciled.
Consequential unsupported information is flagged for nominator input instead of being invented.
A second AI-assisted pass checks for unsupported claims, inconsistencies, overstatement, missing rank reasoning, and unresolved information before presentation.
The structured methodology was developed from practical experience with academic physician advancement and is organized around how physician leaders evaluate clinical contribution, scholarship, education, leadership, professional recognition, impact, and academic trajectory.
How it works
Basic intake, structured extraction, secure review, Draft 1 generation, independent quality control, one optional complete Draft 2, and copy or Word download for both drafts are included in this development build. Payment remains inactive. Secure-link email delivery appears only when configured.
Enter only the candidate's name, current and proposed rank, institution, and the nominator's name and role. An optional emphasis field can identify a priority or personal observation.
Provide the required CV, add institutional promotion criteria when available, and include any authorized supporting materials that may strengthen the documented record.
The system organizes the academic record across relevant domains, preserves source provenance, and surfaces material inconsistencies rather than silently resolving them.
Review the concise structured summary, correct extraction errors, resolve any document conflicts, and confirm the information used for drafting.
A controlled drafting stage develops the reasoned promotion case. A separate AI-assisted quality-control pass checks factual support, consistency, rank readiness, overstatement, and unresolved information.
The output remains a draft. The nominator must verify every fact, resolve flagged items, make any final edits and personalization, and confirm that it meets institutional requirements. The initial letter and one optional complete alternative can each be copied or downloaded as a Word document.
Document handling safeguard
Do not upload documents containing protected health information (PHI), patient-identifiable information, medical record numbers, patient dates of birth, patient images, or other confidential patient information. Remove or appropriately de-identify any such information before uploading. Only upload documents and information that you are authorized to provide.
Required before upload
The upload form requires confirmation that the materials contain no PHI, patient information, confidential institutional data, or other information the user is not authorized to process.
MedLead Tools does not claim that this application is HIPAA-compliant. Final review, verification, editing, and approval remain the user’s responsibility.
Professional responsibility
The application assists with synthesis, organization, interpretation, and drafting. It does not decide whether a candidate merits promotion, replace the judgment or responsibility of the nominator, or supersede an institution’s promotion requirements and process.
